Haircut/hairstyle pictures or ideas?
i am a 14 year old girl, with long wavy/curly hair (not thin, but not thick). only i can never blow dry it or let it air dry, because it always looks like it did in the beginning--like i just got out of bed (and not in the good way)! i always spend the majority of my time in the morning trying to fix it, and i barely have time for anything else. scrunching doesn't work, and curling it or straightening it with an iron takes too long. i'm looking for a cut that would help me. i got my hair cut short, with layers, about a year ago. i think my layers are grown out because its always the top layer of my hair that always looks horrendous no matter what. also, for some reason the back of my hair is the worst with the curling issue. is there any way i can get my layers cut (i don't even know exactly what they are...) without cutting more than one or two inches off the length of my hair? and is there any way my hairstylist could make it fuller in the middle and the ends thinner? and what should i ask/ tell her, because i'm just confused. if anyone could show me a picture that might help me so i could show it to her, that would be awesome!!Haircut/hairstyle pictures or ideas?

That is exactly what my hair was like so i went to the hairdressers and got a whole new hair but it Was only about one and a half inches off so this is what i had done ....
I had layers and a side fringe put in (this wont make any changes though) also i said can you thin it Out then in the shower i put the shampoo in my hair then rinse then comb it then put conditioner in Then rinse then comb then get out the shower and comb then leave it to dry natrually
Honestly this woks soooo well! sorry this is long but its worth it :)xmobile

Need hairstyle pictures--sort of a bob/layered look...?
I'll try and describe it and see if anyone can help me find better pictures than what I've seen. I have long brown hair, and I see this haircut on 'normal' girls not celebrities. It's sort of a medium length, right above or below shoulder length, and it's like a slightly layered bob look. Some girls look like they have bangs and they can clip it right in front with a little clip on top.
Also, I want to change the color a bit but not sure how to describe it to the stylist. What is the type of coloring where it's just a little here and there? Is that frosting? I like the medium brown color with little bits of light brown here and there, very natural looking.

Ok so i have dark blonde hair.. . . it is shoulder length, and not all that thick! It is just cut the same way all around and has like 5 layers i am guessing! um, i gues it would look okay, but by the look of your hair right now, i can tell you that that haircut wouldnt turn out like you want it. this is because your hair is thicker than the girls very fine, thin hair in the pic of the hairstyle u like. i wanted a hairstyle like this, and i have thick hair, so right now my hair is like selena gomezes. i think you should get chunky bangs with choppy layers like selena gomez also. it would frame your face better.New hairstyle (pictures included)???

Super edgy! I love it! Totally rocker, but classy if you style it right. I think it would only work with super straight hair. I can't work it out curly.
Also, if you're planning on getting that haircut, you should also get some highlights. Not blue or something weird, just some dirty brown or honey brown, so you could add some volume and definition to the otherwise super flat cut.

It's good you have an oval shaped face that means that any haircut will look good on you. I have very fine hair too so what I did was I got side sweep bangs but a lot of them and then got a lot of layers and some angels which makes it look a lot thicker. Like this:

let me tell you a little something about scene cuts. i went to my stylist to get my haircut. i told her to do whatever she wanted since she had never let me down before. well, she said she'd give me a fun cut that ';all the kids seem to be doing these days.'; after she cut it, i realized she gave me a scene cut. and you know what? it looked like a mullet. i couldn't even wear my hair down, and i'm still waiting for it to grow out. if you get a scene style cut, make sure that the hairdresser does exactly what you want. mine looked like a mullet b/c she only cut one layer in it. kinda like i got a nice cut, then she threw a short wig on top. just be careful, ok?

';Tease Your Hair! Get short layers cut around the top of your hair, then grab each layer and tease it at the roots with a comb. Hairspray where you have teased. Try to do this to a few of your top layers and then flatten it a bit to get the oomph-factor!';

2)Hairspray(aerosol, not the squirting kind)
3)Deep cleaning shampoo(to get the hairspray out)
4)Straightener
You're going to have to tease your hair alot. It's quite a bit of work, but it looks great. :)
Note: When you're getting the bangs cut, don't just sweep the hair in front to the side, make sure you have the hair a bit farther back pulled forward and then cut at an angle.

take a half inch or inch hair curler and curl your hair
then gather it up into a bun
its fine if its messy, thats what makes the look
then tease your bangs and flip them up onto your head into a pump

okay so this hairstyle will require a lot of teasing. If you don't know what that is... look up a video on how to tease. So for the front poof, take a small section of hair from the front that you want in it. From that separate a small amount from the front and tease the back. Pin it back with the smooth hair covering the teased section but let it all be a bit messy. For the back, put all your hair in a ponytail. Tease small sections of different sizes in the ponytail. Pin these teased sections randomly with bobby pins. Spray with hairspray for hold and its okay to be messy with this hairstyle! Hope this helps!

Use a brush to gently comb out the curls, but not too much or you will have wasted time trying to curl. If you have a pick comb, tease the roots for a more messy look. Pull hair back in a messy bun leaving bangs forward. Then pin bangs back after teasing roots in the front for the bubble bang look.
back comb your bangs a little bit. then hair sray them and lightly comb them back into a poof.
back comb then rest of your hair and hairspray it, then pull it into a bun like pony tail. curl the ends.
use bobby pins to pin it around to make it look messy.
use a thin color of your hair elastic that wont be noticable.

i love the hairstyle, its a cool cut and colour. I really like your hair now! be cautious going such a dark colour if you dont like it red is very hard to get out. I think with your eyes and skin tone you would look gorgeous. There are websites where you can upload your photo, and give yourself different hairstyles. Maybe go to a wig shop and try on some of the same colour that you like, and get a friend to take some photos of you so you can go home and have a think.

It's always hard to judge this sort of thing but I think probably yes. If you do it and don't like it, remember......I only said 'probably' so the blame don't fall on me, ok.
I thought of something else though which may be helpful.....again, I said maybe. You can get software where you plant different hairstyles on your picture. The first link below gives you 8000 styles to try on-line, on a 3 month membership for AU$18. The second link is just a search result for 'hairstyle software' which you may use to scout for other maybe free or trial software. No guarantees on how good any of the sites or software is but you may find this useful.
I dont think it will. Your current hair is pretty but if you are after some change, what about putting some brown lowlights through it and thinning out the bottom for shorter layers on top?

honestly, I don't like that style for anyone. you have nice feminine features so I think you should look for something softer, something less harsh.

i love the hairstyle, its a cool cut and colour. I really like your hair now! be cautious going such a dark colour if you dont like it red is very hard to get out. I think with your eyes and skin tone you would look gorgeous. There are websites where you can upload your photo, and give yourself different hairstyles. Maybe go to a wig shop and try on some of the same colour that you like, and get a friend to take some photos of you so you can go home and have a think.

It's always hard to judge this sort of thing but I think probably yes. If you do it and don't like it, remember......I only said 'probably' so the blame don't fall on me, ok.
I thought of something else though which may be helpful.....again, I said maybe. You can get software where you plant different hairstyles on your picture. The first link below gives you 8000 styles to try on-line, on a 3 month membership for AU$18. The second link is just a search result for 'hairstyle software' which you may use to scout for other maybe free or trial software. No guarantees on how good any of the sites or software is but you may find this useful.
I dont think it will. Your current hair is pretty but if you are after some change, what about putting some brown lowlights through it and thinning out the bottom for shorter layers on top?
The style you've chosen is a bit too harsh and will kind of.. take away from your prettiness? (:
honestly, I don't like that style for anyone. you have nice feminine features so I think you should look for something softer, something less harsh.
i think that you could probably pull it off no worries, but i'm sure there is a nicer hair style out there that will compliment your features a whole lot better. xo
